PROJECT OVERVIEW This project is located in Huancui District, Weihai, a prime coastal area with direct sea views. The goal was to develop a high-end seaside capsule resort by installing more than ten Space Capsule Houses within a short timeframe. Due to the harsh coastal environment, including high salt spray and strong sea winds, the project required exceptional performance in structural durability, corrosion resistance, and wind load capacity, while also ensuring fast deployment and minimal environmental impact.

1. Customized Anti-Corrosion and Wind-Resistant Structure

A weather-resistant steel structural system was developed specifically for coastal environments. The main structure was treated with a dual anti-corrosion process combining hot-dip galvanization and fluorocarbon coating. Optimized wind-resistant structural nodes were integrated to enhance stability under strong coastal winds, ensuring long-term safety and durability of the capsule units.

2. Modular Construction for Fast Deployment

All structural components were prefabricated in the factory to ensure precision and quality control. On-site installation was completed through lightweight lifting methods, eliminating the need for large-scale civil construction. This approach significantly shortened the project timeline while preserving the original coastal terrain and minimizing environmental disruption.

3. Optimized Structure for Panoramic Sea Views

A customized large-span structural system was designed to support panoramic glass installations. This allowed unobstructed ocean views while maintaining structural strength and safety. PROJECT RESULTS

The project successfully completed two phases of development, delivering more than ten Space Capsule Houses for the coastal resort. The site has become a popular seaside destination and a benchmark for capsule-based tourism projects in Weihai.
